Therminol FF is an effective low cost flushing fluid, which can prove to be a splendid alternative for the chemical cleaning of the heat transfer system which contains several degraded organic heat transfer fluids. Since, the deposition of such oxidised, thermally degraded fluid, fouls a system’s interior surface, hence, it’s very important for the system to be cleaned prior to the charging.

Therminol 55 is a synthetic heat transfer fluid intended for use in the liquid phase for indirect process heating. Therminol 55 offers increased thermal and oxidation stability that translates into more efficient heat transfer, longer fluid life, and optimum operating economies.


Therminol 55 has wide operating range : -10°C to 305°C
Therminol 55 has an optimum economic bilk operating range of -10°C to 305°C. It can be used to an extended bulk temperature of 315°C.
Therminol 55 exhibits thermal stability markedly superior to that of mineral oils used for the same purpose. Liquid phase systems using Therminol 55 find use in applications traditionally using steam as a heating medium resulting in capital, operation and maintenance cost-savings.

Therminol 55 is non-fouling - The unique composition of Therminol 55 resists the effects of oxidation upto 10 times better mineral oils. Less oxidation means less solids formation and much less fouling. For systems without nitrogen inerting, the performance advantages are significant.

Applications

Therminol 55 finds applications in process heating chambers in textiles, plywood, heating of calender rolls, tracing of lines at storage terminals, process heating for chemical industry and waste heat recovery systems.
